Cold Coffee or Coffee Milkshake is an easy and simple chilled dessert drink that is mostly served in summer season. It is a coffee flavored drink that you can prepare with Coffee Decoction or with Instant Coffee Powder. Decoction is prepared by crushing coffee beans. It is very easy and quick to prepare since it takes only few minutes to make. We often have Hot Coffee at our home or restaurant all the season, but during summer, Cold Coffee is a must have drink.

There are different variations of making cold coffee with the main ingredient, coffee in common. But here we will be preparing it with Instant Coffee Powder, Milk and Sugar. To make the coffee thick and flavorful, use full cream milk, ice cream and milk ice cubes. I will be using Ice cubes in place of milk ice cubes. To give a different taste and variation to the cold coffee you can add chocolate syrup to the milk shake to make Chocolate Cold Coffee.

While preparing this drink, we use sugar for bringing sweetness to the drink. There are people who avoid sugar or any sugar related food items in their meal as per instruction of their doctor. They even fear with the excess intake of calories which can increase fat in their body. So they even skip drinking it. But now they can also drink it by preparing it with sugar free diet sugar. The sweetness remains the same. The quantity of the diet sugar will be similar to normal sugar. Sugar free diet sugar is easily available in the market. Here I will be using normal sugar to prepare the drink.

To prepare Cold Coffee, first make concentrated liquid from Instant Coffee Powder by mixing it with warm water. And then add it into the blender along with Chilled Milk and Sugar. Blend it till froth forms over the surface of the milk. Add Ice Cubes and Vanilla Ice-cream and again blend it. Serve it chilled by topping it with coffee powder and grated chocolate. Here we are using Ice cubes to make chilled cold coffee. We can also use milk ice cubes in place of ice cubes. Adding milk ice cubes makes the coffee thicker. It tastes best when served chilled.
