Chilli Garlic Chutney is a delicious, hot and spicy chutney which we use in various recipes to enhance the taste of it. It is a famous Indian street food spread since it is used in various Indian snacks to make it more tasty. It is prepared by grinding Dry Red Chilli and Garlic Cloves in mixer grinder. Chilli Garlic Chutney act as a spread in sandwiches, vada pav, burger and rolls. You can also use it as a chutney in Dosa, Idli, Batata Vada, Samosa or any other Indian snacks recipes. To keep the chutney fresh for a week, store it in a refrigerator. Red Chilli Garlic Chutney is very easy and quick to make
To prepare Chilli Garlic Chutney use Kashmiri Red Chilli which is less spicy. But if you want to use Dry Red Chilli, you can go for it. But remember to use less quantity of it since it can make the chutney red hot and spicy. You can use Red Chilli powder instead of whole dry red chilli. Also you can add Lemon juice to reduce the spiciness of the chutney. Take out the seeds of the chilli before grinding. After grinding the chutney, you can fry in oil and enhance the taste. Here I have not fried in oil. To reduce the spiciness, you can add tamarind paste to it which brings slight sweetness to the chutney.
