Pudine Ki Chutney (Mint Chutney)

Pudine ki Chutney is very simple and easy to prepare. It is prepared in the same way as Coriander Tomato Chutney. Coriander is replaced with Mint Leaves. It can be served with Bread Pakodas, Samosa, Fried Rice, Burgers, Chaat, Chilla and Tikki. It is prepared with Mint leaves, tomatoes, onion and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm Chopped Pudina (Mint Leaves)
  • 1 medium Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 medium Chopped Onion
  • 3 piece Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Ginger
  • 8-10 pieces Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt to Taste

Instructions:

  • Take Fresh Mint leaves, remove the thick stems and chop the rest part into small pieces.
  • Wash the chopped leaves with water to remove the soil from it. Drain out the water after washing it.
  • Now take the chopped mint leaves, tomato and onion along with other ingredients in the mixer grinder jar and grind it. Grind it till a smooth paste is made. If required you can add water while grinding.
  • Coriander Mint Chutney is ready to be served. Take it out in a bowl and serve it with your favourite snacks

Notes:

1. Adding onion to the chutney gives a good taste to it. But it cannot be stored for a longer time. To store for a longer time, skip the onion.
2. If you are using the Lemon Juice, add it after making the paste depending upon the sourness of the chutney.
3. Curd is also an option instead of tomato. I have also shared the recipe of Coriander Mint Curd Chutney in my post.
