Ingredients
10piecesDry Kashmiri Red Chilli
12clovesgarlic
1teaspoonLemon Juice
1/4teaspoonCumin Seeds
1teaspoonCoriander Powder
1/2cupWater
Salt to Taste
Instructions
Take all the Dry Red Chilli in a bowl. Add water to it.
Switch on the stove and boil the water for 5 minutes.
Switch off the stove. Keep the Red Chilli in water for 15 minutes.
Take out the chilli from the water and put it in the mixer grinder jar.
Peel out the outer layer of Garlic cloves and add it into the grinder jar.
Add Cumin Seeds, Coriander Powder, Lemon Juice, Salt and Water.
Grind them to make a smooth paste.
Chilli Garlic Chutney is ready. Use it to make chaats and other different recipes.
Notes
Adding Lemon Juice to the chutney reduces the spiciness of it and brings tangy taste.
Store in refrigerator to keep it fresh for longer time.
This Chutney can also be fried in oil to enhance its taste.
Red Chilli Powder can be used instead of Whole Red Chilli.
