Aam Ki Chutney or Raw Mango Chutney is a spicy and tangy chutney recipe prepared from Raw Green Mango. It is very easy and quick to prepare. There are many variations of Mango Chutney which we can prepare it in raw form or in cooked form. It can be sweet in taste or sour in taste. You can prepare the chutney as per your requirement. Here we will be preparing raw and sour chutney.
Mangoes are consumed in different forms in our country and it may be as a Drink or Chutney or Pickle. To make these recipes, we use either raw mangoes or ripe mangoes. We prepare all these recipes in different ways and in different forms. Mango Drinks are beneficial for health during summer season. I will keep sharing these recipes in my posts.
There are different ways of preparing chutney from raw mangoes. There are slight changes in the procedure and ingredients that we use in preparing the chutney. However all the chutney recipes involve the same blending process. Here we will be using the basic ingredients such as Raw Mango, Garlic and Dry Red Chilli to prepare Aam Ki Chutney. This process does not involve any cooking. Mango chutney can also be prepared by cooking the mangoes with other additional ingredients. I will be sharing these recipes in my coming posts. These Chutney Recipes are easy to make and take very less time to prepare.
To prepare Kacchhe Aam Ki Chutney, take the Raw Mangoes and peel the outer layer with the help of peeler. Wash it and then cut it into small pieces. Next take the Garlic Cloves and take out the outer skin of the cloves. Chop it into small pieces so that it helps in blending properly. Switch on the stove and roast the Dry Red Chilli under direct fire. Roast for few seconds only so that it does not burn. You can also roast the red chilli in a pan or tawa instead of roasting in direct fire.
Take all the ingredients and transfer them into a mixer grinder jar. Also add Salt and Water as per requirement. Switch on the mixer grinder and blend all the ingredients properly so that a smooth and fine paste is formed. Aam Ki Chutney is ready to serve. Take out the chutney in a small bowl and serve it with your favourite Snacks Recipes or along with Main Course Recipes.

Let’s start preparing the Aam Ki Chutney,
Aam Ki Chutney/Kacchhe Aam Ki Chutney/Raw Mango Chutney
Equipments:
- Mixer Grinder
Ingredients:
- 2 medium Raw Mango
- 2 piece Dry Red Chilli
- 2 tablespoon Finely Chopped Garlic
- Salt as required
- Water as required
Instructions:
- Take the Dry Red Chilli and roast it under direct fire for few seconds. Do not allow it to burn. Remove the stem from it.
- Peel out the outer layer of Raw Mango with the help of peeler. Wash it and cut it into small pieces or slices.
- Also take the Garlic Cloves and peel the outer layer. Chop it into small pieces.
- Transfer the Roasted Dry Red Chilli, Chopped Garlic and Raw Mango into a mixer grinder jar. Add required amount of Salt and Water
- Blend all the ingredients into smooth paste without any lumps. Aam Ki Chutney is ready. Serve it with your favourite dishes.
Notes:
- You can roast the Dry Red Chilli in pan or tawa under low flame instead of roasting in direct flame. It helps in preventing the chilli to burn. Also if you want you can skip the roasting process.
- If you want you can also add small amount of Mustard Oil after preparing the paste. Just add it and mix it.
- To make tangier chutney, use Green Raw Mango. Also you can add more chilli to make it spicy.
- If the mango is sour, you can add slight amount of sugar.
