How to make Bread Crumbs

Bread Crumbs is prepared by toasting the bread slice without oil or butter till it becomes hard and light brown. It is then cut into small pieces and then grinded in a mixer grinder to make crunchy Bread Crumbs. Leave it overnight to make the crumbs crunchier.

Ingredients

  • 4 piece Slice of Bread
  • Dry Fruits such as Cashew, Groundnut, Almonds, etc (Optional)

Instructions

  • Switch on the stove and place the Tawa over it.
  • Heat the Tawa over medium flame.
  • After it is heated put the slices of bread on it. Do not use oil or butter to toast it. Allow them to toast and turn into light brown colour.
  • Turn into the other side and let it also bake and turn light brown.
  • Switch off the flame and take the toasted breads into a plate.
  • Now cut the bread into small pieces.
  • Put it into the mixer grinder jar or chopper jar. Add Dry Fruits if you want to. Here I have not added any dry fruits.
  • Turn on the mixer grinder and grind it for some time.
  • Take out the mixture in a plate. Your Breadcrumb is ready.
  • You can use the breadcrumbs to make snacks such as vegetable chop, vegetable cutlet, etc. to make it crunchy.
