  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 3 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • Salt as required

Instructions

  • Take the Paneer and crumble it into small pieces. Keep it aside.
  • Heat Oil in a pan or kadai over medium heat.
  • Add Cumin Seeds and allow it to crackle.
  • When it stops crackling, add Green Chilli and Chopped Onion.
  • Fry the onion till it changes its colour to light golden brown.
  • Next add Ginger Garlic Paste and fry till the raw smell of ginger and garlic goes off.

Notes

  1. While frying the paneer, do not cook it for long time. Cooking for long time will harden the paneer and in turn will change the taste of the paneer.
  2. To prepare tasty and flavourful Paneer Bhurji, use fresh Homemade Paneer.
  3. To make the Paneer Bhurji healthier, you can also add extra veggies such as carrot, peas, capsicum, etc.
  4. If you are using market bought paneer, then put the paneer in water to make it soft. Since the paneer is freezed and is hard, it is required to make it soft to prepare soft Paneer Bhurji.
