Coconut Bread Toast is one of the easiest recipes to prepare. Here we have made it by toasting the bread in tawa. Ghee or butter is applied over the bread slices and toasted. It is then dipped into the sugar syrup and then rolled with grated coconut powder. So let’s start preparing coconut bread toast.

Ingredients
5pieceBread Slice
100gmGrated Coconut
1/2cupSugar
2clovesCardamom
1cupWater
Butter or Ghee(As per your requirement)
Instructions
Heat 1 cup of water in a pan. Add 1/2 cup of sugar in the boiled water. Also add the cardamom cloves in it.
Boil the mixture till the syrup attains the right consistency. When the sugar syrup boils to right consistency, switch off the stove.
Cut the bread slice into four equal parts. Apply ghee or butter over each slice.
Heat tawa or pan. Place the bread slice and toast it till it becomes light golden brown. Toast all the bread slice.
Now take the sugar syrup and heat it again.
Dip the toasted bread in the sugar syrup for a minute so that it soaks the sugar syrup. Take it out and keep it in a tray. Follow the same process for all the bread slices.
Now take the bread and roll it in the grated coconut. Roll all the bread slice properly in the coconut so that it gets completely wrapped with it.
Coconut Bread toast is ready to be served.
Notes
Dip the toast in the sugar syrup as per your requirement. If you want the toast to be less sweet, dip it and take it out of the syrup after few seconds. If you want it to be sweeter, keep the toast dipped in the syrup for a longer time.
The sweetness of the syrup also depends on the quantity of the sugar. Add as per your need.
Adding of cardamom to the sugar syrup gives a different flavor. If you don’t like the flavor of cardamom you can skip it.
