Condensed Milk is a sweet thickened milk prepared from Full Cream Milk and Sugar. It is prepared by continuously boiling the Milk along with Sugar till a thick consistency of milk is formed. It is used to prepare different types of sweets.

Ingredients
1litreFull Cream Milk(4 cup)
1cupSugar(200 gram)
Instructions
Take a heavy base Kadai and add Full Cream Milk into it. Also add Sugar to it.
Heat the Milk over medium flame till it comes to boil. Stir the Milk continuously with spatula to dissolve the Sugar.
Let the Milk boil till it reduces to half its original quantity.
Keep stirring the Milk continuously so that it does not stick and burn. If the milk sticks at the edges, remove it with the help of spatula or spoon and mix it back to the milk. The colour of the milk may change if the milk sticks and burn.
As the Milk is boiling you will see that the quantity of milk starts reducing and the consistency starts thickening.
Cook the Milk till the quantity reduces to 1/3rd of its original quantity. At this point the Condensed Milk is perfect to be used in preparing different sweets.
Switch off the stove and allow the Condensed Milk to cool down to room temperature.
Condensed Milk is ready to use. Store it in air tight container for weeks to prepare different types of sweets.
Notes
Keep stirring the Milk continuously with spatula while preparing Condensed Milk so that it does not stick at the bottom and edges. It can change the colour of the milk if it sticks and burn.
Cook the Milk till it reduces to 1/3rd its original quantity to prepare right consistency of Condensed Milk.
Adjust the quantity of Sugar as per your liking of sweetness.
